Historic preservation, approached with restraint rather than ornament.
Long-term quality over turnover, scale, or novelty.
Respect for residents, expressed through privacy, clarity, and attention to detail.
Service philosophy
The operating philosophy is shaped by a lifetime of observing what makes a place work well: early hospitality experience, military service, executive leadership, international travel, and years spent living with the strengths and shortcomings of accommodations around the world. The result is not ceremony. It is thoughtful preparation, privacy, functionality, comfort, and the anticipation of resident needs without intrusion.

Our vision
Measured by Stewardship, Not Scale
The Pitt Residence is the beginning of a long-term vision: a very limited collection of privately owned executive residences in exceptional American destinations. If that vision grows, it will do so intentionally and carefully, with stewardship, setting, and permanence carrying more weight than expansion for its own sake.
